Sale tax registration is mandatory if turnover in the current year exceeds INR 20 lakhs, if one makes any interstate saleor interstate purchases for resale in Delhi. One can also apply voluntarily for registration even if your turnover is below Rs. 20 lacs. .

All partnership firms are governed by Indian Partnership Act, 1932. When two or more partners comes together to do a business with the objective of earning and sharing profits is called partnership. Partnership firm can be of two type one is unregistered partnership firm and other one is registered partnership firm.

Unregistered partnership firm can be formed by drafting partnership deed on INR 100/- stamp paper. But on the other hand a registered partnership deed can be formed by drafting and registering partnership deed with registrar of firms. Firmmay be registered at any time by filing an application with the registrar of Firms where place of business of firm is situated.

Indian Partnership Act, 1932 does not provide for any compulsory registration of firms. It is optional for partners to set the firm registered and there are no penalties for non-registration.
